You will be able to see the import charges at checkout. This is a pair of antique German military SUN glasses / spectacles / goggles with very dark 2 tone lenses made for anyone in the German military by Carl Zeiss. These goggles are made from a tortoiseshell coloured hard plastic with 2 cotton ribbons to attach around the ears. The left lens has the initials CZ etched onto the surface at the very edge. The story that comes with these unusual sunglasses is that they were given to the men that were at the very large detonation of a huge amount of bombs and ammo gathered up at the end of the war and these were given to the men that were there to protect their eyes of the blast! Now you can take that with a pinch of salt but that is the story with these German sunglasses from the old boy I got them from. There are 2 pairs, see the other listing. They come in their original metal case which is branded Carl Zeiss Jena Umbral.

There is an original paper instruction sheet inside its original plastic which I didn't want to take out to photograph in case I couldn't get it back in again. Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself. Condition Report: Normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs and minor impact marks etc.

The plastic has a few small cracks through it around the nose area. The metal case is a little rusted in places.

This pair are in slightly better condition than the other pair listed. 105mm long (4 and 1/2 inches) x 45mm wide. My stock ref : #ESK/18324/200 in their collective box of the date. GSP sorts any paperwork etc.

I have no control over the prices that GSP set. Unfortunately GSP do open the packages they receive to check the contents and then re-wrap them for the forward journey to you. This has caused some issues in the past so please take my word that I personally wrap all items as best I can to survive the trip, but GSP sometimes do not take as much care as I do when re-wrapping. You can also arrange to COLLECT your item from my actual antique shop LEEVINTIQUES in Bedale, DL8 1AF if that is easier for you.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal sized Coke can (330ml). In the title or description it means. Condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage.

In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F for " as found " for 45 years.
