WW2 German M35 Army Helmet ET64 4056 With Original Paint, Decal, Liner & Strap

You are looking at my original WW2 German M35 Army Helmet. The Helmet is in original condition, the paintwork is completely untouched, and the decal is about 70% intact.

The helmet started life as a double decal helmet, but the left hand shield has been removed at some point. There is still a mark where it once lay. The helmet is stamped ET64 with the skirt number 4056. Inside the helmet is the original dome stamp and is named in the rim. It also has the initials KP scratched into the rim, close to the size stamp.

So may have had more than one owner. The helmet is complete with a liner, which is the correct aluminium banded liner, and is a superbly tight fit, so I have never taken it out to examine for makers marks etc.

The leather is still supple, but split in places, and is very dirty. I did condition the leather when I first bought the helmet, which softened it well. I have no idea if the liner started life with the helmet but it is the correct type I believe for the age of the helmet. The chinstrap is an aluminium buckle version, and the buckle has been painted in a similar colour to the helmet.

Please study all the accompanying pictures as they form part of the description of the helmet. If you do have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Alternatively, you can collect the helmet from me in the North West close to Jcn 22 M6. If you want a bargain, then look for a dug up relic, rather than this example. Many thanks for looking and before you go, please take a look at my other items.
