WW2 German salesmans sample patches insignia
Pre WW2 German salesman sample "card" showing off the various colors for the signal /communication blitz. Roughly from 1936, as it shows the color for "signals' " troops (really redundant) which was discontinued 1936 or early 1937. Colors = white, yellow, light blue, light green, dark green, pink, red, burgundy, copper, black with white edging. NOTE; all are hand sew onto 1 piece of wool. The wool is thicker & lighter in color than these patches were typically done. Wool glued onto a piece of cardboard. The "white rings" around each patch is Not thread but, looks like paint.
Back side of board, in pencil = "103 - ". No other numbers or letters. And No company mark/ name. I honestly can't tell you how long I've owned this but, A long time. Measures; almost 12 inch across X 9 inch tall.
Priced real fair, considering the price of each retail. Any questions or more photos? I do believe I showed this on Wehrmacht awards years ago, some might remember it.
Will be sent in a padded envelope......
